Kasey is a Los Angeles based artist, songwriter, producer and performer building a new chapter in American pop. After relocating from Europe to Los Angeles, she began developing a completely new audience around a sound and visual world rooted in the era that shaped her: the early 2000s.
Her music brings the attitude, melody, movement and larger than life pop energy of Y2K into a modern world, blending pop, R&B and hip hop with contemporary production. But Kasey is not approaching the genre as nostalgia. She grew up inside that culture, studied its songwriting, production and performance language, and is now rebuilding it through her own perspective.
Behind the emerging artist is a lifelong performer and trained musician. Kasey began dancing at three years old and has spent most of her life on stage, performing as a dancer, vocalist, actress and live entertainer. She later completed three years of formal music studies in composition, music theory and ensemble performance, followed by professional training in music production.
Kasey is a fully independent artist. She produces and mixes her own music, backed by three additional years of sound engineering studies, and records everything in a professional home studio she designed and built herself. Her engineering training also includes an advanced program at Abbey Road Studios in London with mix engineer Jaycen Joshua, whose credits include Rihanna, Beyoncé and Michael Jackson.
Kasey is a singer, songwriter, composer, producer, dancer and performer in one. Her background in live entertainment gives her the ability to build a record and fully translate it to the stage.
She is comfortable singing, rapping, dancing, acting and commanding an audience with a microphone. Years of live performance developed an instinctive understanding of pacing, crowd connection and showmanship that now informs the records she creates.
Kasey’s upcoming debut album, Y2KC, is built around one idea: bring back what made 2000s pop feel unforgettable, without making a record that sounds twenty years old.
The album blends addictive pop hooks, R&B attitude, hip hop rhythm, emotional songwriting and high energy production into a world designed to feel familiar and completely new at the same time.
It is playful, emotional, feminine, bold, danceable and intentionally larger than life. Kasey writes and composes her material and is deeply involved in the production of every record, working both independently and alongside producers and collaborators.

Before launching her current U.S. artist project, Kasey accumulated extensive professional experience as a songwriter, performer, musical director and recording artist, including large scale live performances, television work, musical theatre and songwriting for established recording artists.

Followed by professional music production studies at a dedicated production college, working in Logic Pro.

Five years of lead roles in full scale musical productions, including Grease, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz, for a major resort entertainment company.
